Pedestrian operated Zallys tug connected to two wheelie bins

Zallys M4 and M5

The Zallys M4 and M5 are our main starting points for bin handling applications. We match the model, compatible hitch and ballast configuration to your loaded bins and operating route.

The number of bins and suitable towing load depend on the equipment configuration, gradients, surfaces and operating conditions.

Connect the right bins

Bin dimensions, attachment points and the number of bins per trip help determine the connection required. Discuss compatible Sulo bin hitches, twin bin attachments and trolley options with our team.

Ramps, weather and ballast

Wet surfaces and steeper ramps can affect traction. A suitable machine ballast configuration may be required following a site assessment.

We consider the loaded bin weight, ramp gradient, surface condition, tyre configuration, braking requirements and weather exposure when assessing the application.

Ballast does not make every ramp suitable. The equipment and route must remain within the applicable manufacturer limits.

Other bin handling configurations

Some sites need a bin trolley or a ride-on transport option. These examples show other configurations to discuss during your assessment.

Your bin handling questions

Can a powered bin mover operate on a ramp?

Suitability depends on the selected model, total load, gradient and surface conditions. Supply the route details so our team can assess the configuration against the manufacturer specifications.

Can we move more than one bin at a time?

Some configurations support multiple bins. The number depends on the total loaded weight, attachments, machine configuration and route.

Will ballast plates solve traction issues in wet weather?

Ballast may form part of a suitable configuration, but it does not guarantee traction or make an unsuitable ramp safe. Wet weather and the complete route need to be considered in the assessment.
